Pedestrian crossed ‘Do not walk’:Police

Police authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina finally released the report of the accident that says the pedestrian who was struck and killed Wednesday morning in North Raleigh was attempting to cross the road even though the crossing light read “Do Not Walk.”

According to the police accident report, a senior Bhutanese, Nanda Lal Poudyel, 68, of Suburban Drive stepped into the northbound lanes of Falls of Neuse Road in front of a passenger car driven by Aida Isabel Medelmoss of Raleigh.

The report released by the police on Friday further stated that southbound traffic had stopped for a red light, but the northbound lanes still had a green light until just before Poudyel stepped off the curb. According to this report, late Poudyel entered the northbound lanes while the lights were yellow.

The accident took place on Tuesday at Falls of Neuse and Sandy Forks roads. Poudyel, who was taken by emergency workers to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, was pronounced dead shortly after admitting in the hospital.

Child drowns in swimming pool in AZ

The question as to how he got into water or whether he was left unattended by parents or other senior family members still remains unclear.

The community couldn’t find Darshan in the first search because of the murky water.

The Kharel family then called 911 when all the efforts to find his whereabouts failed. Later, Police used a special device to trace the dead body from the pool, according to a report.

His dead body has been kept in the University Medical Center for further investigation.

According to the latest report, the cremation will take place on August 4 at 10 am local time.

The Kharel family, which originally came from Chirang Bhutan, was resettled in AZ from Beldangi-II refugee camp in east Nepal.

His parents, grandma and one elder brother survived him, informed DB Adhikari from Tucson.

According to the eyewitness, , the elephant entered into the camp from a community forest at the close vicinity around at5:30 am this morning.
Those victims during the attack were Birkha Bahadur Rai, 68, of sector A-3 hut number 345 and Dataram Mongar, 70, of sector A-1, hut number 134, reporter of REFUGEES VOICE  informed.
Police have taken dead bodies for postmortem to Bhadrapur of Jhapa.

Medical Examiner: Three Bhutanese men died of accidental drowning

The Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed the identification of the three individuals who were found in the vehicle in the Spokane River.  The bodies were found in a car near the intersection of Boone and Hogan on July 6.
The Medical Examiner said Krishna Dhital, Krishna Dhakal, and Dilli Ram Bhattarai died of accidental drowning in a submerged motor vehicle.
Investigators searched around the river since the men went missing.  It was only Wednesday, with the water four feet lower than a month ago, that they were able to catch a break in the case.  A car bumper and license plate were found along the river bank.

Police found dead bodies of three missing youths in WA

Police have confirmed three bodies have been recovered from a black Acura found in the Spokane River.

Police were searching the Spokane River after a piece of a bumper connected to three missing Bhutanese men was spotted.

The piece of bumper found had the licenses plate to the missing vehicle. Officials found what could be the rest of the car down stream.

Last month three members of the Bhutanese refugee community vanished. The Spokane teenager and two Western Washington men were last seen in Spokane.

Bhutan King announced his wedding.
